How to schedule an appointment with Team Doggie Dog Walking - (TDDW)

You can text or email me with your initial inquiries and phone number, or call.

Our initial phone call will be a quick chat and is your chance to ask questions, share your pet care needs and see if we’re the perfect fit. I’ll also check my availability and walk you through the next steps.

Meet-and-greet time (Aka Sit & Shake)

We’ll meet at your home so that we can get acquainted and so I can get to know your pet/s with you in the room. We can also review any other details and make sure all questions are answered.

The Walk:

 -       All doggies will be leashed for the entirety of their outing.

-       If it’s wet outside, I’ll towel dry their feet and body before dropping them off.

-       If your doggie is reactive to other dogs on the leash, our outings will be in your neighborhood so that all concerned remain cool, calm and collected.

-       Although all pets are special, if your doggy has a history of being aggressive towards people or other doggies, I may not be a good fit.

-       If your doggie is not reactive, I offer to take your doggie to Greenlake for 60-minute walks. Depending on circumstances and the weather, I may avoid walking on the lake path and choose to meander on the grassy areas.

-       Because doggies often need to sniff out that “pawfect” place to do their business, I may not be exactly on the dot getting them back to you. If this impacts my next appointment arrival time, I will always let you know if my E.T.A. has changed.

Encountering Other Dogs on our Walk

Our dog walks are tailored to the needs of each household, meaning we’ll only walk your dogs and won’t mix them with other pups, unless it’s agreed upon by both parties.

To keep everyone safe I’ll do my best to avoid interactions with other people and their pets during walks. If needed, I’ll change our route to steer clear of others, and I’ll politely decline any offers to let your dog interact with unfamiliar dogs or people.

For most pet owners, socializing dogs is a desired characteristic. For support, guard or show dogs there are other priorities. If you have a puppy, regular walks will help with socializing them. If you doggie’s mature and needs some help with socializing, I can help but I’m not trainer and it’s something best done with the help of a dog trainer.

Since pets can sometimes act unpredictably, TDDW can’t take responsibility for any injuries caused by your dog to others or to me. If anyone gets hurt while handling your pet, the owner will be responsible for covering any medical costs needed for both the employee and the animals involved.

Inclement Weather

If driving is not safe due to icy conditions, I will contact you to reschedule asap to reschedule as soon as conditions allow.
